Tables like these were once part of life in medieval, 17th-century monasteries, where men of God gathered to commune together. Today, our reproduction is true to the original's hand-hewn style and trestle design.
Handcrafted of solid TEAK timber with ash veneer on the top, the brown and black finishes display a pronounced grain and richly textured, reveals the natural character of the wood grain. Planks of tabletop are hand-selected, Turned trestle legs in a baluster shape. By their nature, natural wood planks may be somewhat uneven, and may cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character; cracks may be present.
