The Organic Chair was originally designed in 1940 by Ray & Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen for the Organic Design in Home Furnishings Competition held by the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
The creation of these chairs was for the "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" competition held by the Museum of Modern Art. Due to wartime conditions and lack of technology, these chairs never went into full production until fairly recently. The beautiful reproduction of the Charles and Eero is contains light taupe, dark taupe or dark brown twill fabric upholstery and medium or light brown stained wood legs.
